it occurs to me i haven't sent out any emails, so if you're not in the discord, sup sup. glad to have you.
you really should join the discord if you haven't though. you missed a lot. ;)

upcoming workshops:
630pst -- fine-tuning w/ the mad scientist manoj
930pst -- devops 101 w/ the grand container wizard coolrazor
tbd -- commune 101 w/ fam, creator of commune (if we can grab him for a few mins)

but, the actual update:
submissions are now due 3 hours later than originally stated (3/4/2024 12pm PST)
public voting opens after submission due time and goes until EOW

if you plan to apply for an O1 visa, shoot me an email (or hit me on discord or twitter, i respond faster there). i save judging slots 4 ppl who need 'em, hackathon judge looks good on a visa application. judges don't make final decisions on winners (that's up to the sponsors providing the prize), but we do filter the projects down to the ones to put in front of the sponsor. if you're participating & also want to judge, we might be able to make that happen (can't judge your own project, of course), otherwise can save you a slot for the next one.

working on setting up a RAG chat application that's got all the docs from the sponsor tech uploaded, so once i've got a url i'll push another update.

not much time left, chummer -- but more than enough to knock it out of the park. don't forget to stretch, drink water, & give it your all.
